The Taki 3000 Type was manufactured in 1947 and has been a representative type of tank car in Japan.
There was a variation in form because of many owned companies and manufactured during a long period, and some of the early vehicles were added with railings from other forms.
There was a number of railings was reduced by the expansion of Taki 1000 Type, etc., and in the later years, it was used mainly for waste transportation, etc.
All vehicles were retired by around 2000.
