The conventional Point Rail was a "semi-selective type" that isolated one side, but the Double Slip Point Rail is a "full-selective type" that isolated both side.
Left and right branch are due to difference in cutting positions of the attached cut rail. The point rail is the same in both side.
The length of the point rail is 112.8 mm in both side. By combining the attached 53.6 mm and a separate 55 mm rail, it is possible to match 110 mm pitch.
