The first of six abstract games by Chris Blum is the first of a series of two person abstract games by Chris Blum.
The GIPF project is a series of six abstract games by German designer Chris Blum.
All of the pieces in the series share a common taste, but each has been perfected as a deep, high-quality, independent abstract game.
The simple components and unique system built into each piece make it a mature game in which the designer's sharp thinking and sense can be felt.
The first of this project is "GIPF".
When four or more pieces of the same color are arranged in a straight line on a hexagonal board using white and black pieces, push the pieces to the center and slide them, and if the pieces of the same color are in the same straight line, the arranged pieces and pieces of another color on the same straight line are removed from the board.
If the removed pieces are your color, it is your spare piece. If the other pieces are your color, it is capture. If there are no spare pieces, it is defeated.
Since this game is positioned as a core game in the first part of the project, it is possible to play in three stages :
basic rules, standard rules, competition rules, and difficulty levels.
