Each of the seven mice has a sticker of a different color on their back. You put six of them in a tube and turn it around to start the game without knowing which color of mouse is where.
You take out a square piece of cheese from the bag and place it in the center of the game board. The player takes out the mouse that is out and pushes it in from the outside of one of the tubes and drives out the mouse that is inside. If there is a piece of cheese that is the same color as the mouse that is being driven out, you can eat it.
You take this piece of cheese and use it to drive out another mouse.
When there is no more cheese on the game board, you take another three pieces of cheese from the bag and continue the game. If you drive out a mouse that is not in the center of the game board, it's your turn to drive out another mouse.
The player who collects more cheeses wins.
