Omi Railway is a railway company in Shiga Prefecture with three lines : the main line from Maibara to Kibukawa via Hikone and Yokaichi, the Manyo-Akane Line connecting Yokaichi to Omihachiman, and the Taga Line bound for Taga-taisha Shrine.
The ED14 was originally a Japanese National Railways ED14. Four cars were imported from the US in 1926. They were used on the Tokaido Main Line, Iida Line, and Senzan Line before AC electrification. They were transferred to Omi Railway from 1960 to 1966.
At Omi Railway, they were used until 1988 when freight was being transported. Now, all four cars are on display at the Omi Railway Museum attached to Hikone station.
This time, the ED14 No. 3 and ED14 No. 1, both of which have been used for JNR specifications.
For the power unit, TM-ED14 02 with a wheel diameter of 8.2 mm are released simultaneously, and Pantograph recommends PS14 (0211).

* Some user-mounted parts such as decks and handrails are available.
