Fricsay's powerful baton brings out the masterful performance from the RIAS sound and is impressive. It is a monaural recording from the first half of the 1950 s, but the sound is robust. It is regrettable that "Petrushca" does not include the scene of death, but I am impressed by the powerful expression of "Spring Festival" as well.
